Self-Help Groups
 | Double Trouble in Recovery meeting - Thursday 2PM-3PM

 | For consumers that are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance
abuse

 | Free 12-step fellowship program where men and women come together and share
their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may solve their common problems and help others recover from their particular
addictions and mental disorder.

Women and Men Groups

Issues related
to but not limited to, substance abuse, treatment for mental illness, HIV,
Self-esteem, hygiene, and an array of other topics that will prepare our
members to be reintegrate back into mainstream society.

Guests Speakers
 |
Ranges from
the American Heart Association, to Anti-Stigma Groups. Our purpose is
to have a guest speaker everyday except on weekends. To help educate
our members on their somatic and mental health. We ask our members for
any suggestions for guest speakers that they might be interested in.
Their input is valuable, because recovery is all about them.

Multi-Cultural Events
 | These
events are held throughout the year and the inclusion of our members in our
newsletter, Arts and Crafts, Labor Day celebration, Memorial Day
celebration, and the celebration of Black History Month make the amiable
experience of going back into mainstream society more feasible. |
